Who is this course for?

Licensed & Launched™ is designed for aspiring childcare entrepreneurs who want to open a daycare but do not know where to begin, home providers who are ready to grow into a center, and people who started the licensing process but became overwhelmed.

Who is this course not for?

This is not a done-for-you licensing service. You complete the work while Ellise shows you the process.

I have no business experience. Can I still do this?

Yes. The program is built for beginners. Business terms, budgeting, licensing concepts, and the steps involved are explained in plain language.

Does this work for a home daycare or only a center?

The core business, budgeting, policy, enrollment, and operational principles apply to both. Some facility and inspection training focuses more heavily on childcare centers because those requirements are often more involved.

I do not live in Illinois. Can I still use this course?

Yes. The overall process of opening a licensed childcare business follows a similar structure, while the specific agency, forms, regulations, and requirements vary by state.

The course teaches you the process and how to locate the requirements for your own state.

How soon do I receive access after enrolling?

Once your payment is processed, you receive your receipt and your course login invitation is sent shortly afterward. If you do not see it, check your spam and promotions folders first.

Will this help me with grants or funding?

Yes. Module 3 focuses on funding and grants, including preparing the business plan and budget that potential funders may want to review. Licensed & Launched™ does not guarantee that you will receive a grant or funding award.

What if I get stuck while taking the course?

What happens after I finish?

You receive your Certificate of Completion and keep the 27 Vault documents you downloaded.

How long do I have access to the course?

You get 60 days of full access to Licensed & Launched from the day you are enrolled.

That is plenty of time. Most students finish in 3 to 5 weeks working just 1 to 2 hours a day. Your exact access end date is included in your welcome email, so you always know where you stand, and reminders will be sent along the way.

What is your refund policy?
